Made me smile

Journey was awful, again. Called at younger brothers before carrying on to the cottage. Not cold as expected but hubby put the heating on and by the time we had gone for a short walk and coffee it was lovely and warm.
Made a chilli for dinner as it’s quick and easy and I feel quite tired after such a frustrating journey, all due to roadworks.
Hubby took a photo of a car that did make me smile on the M1 and doing seventy at this point and the key was actually moving.
When we arrived the camper was back outside our kitchen window but the neighbour came over and moved it so that was good. It makes such a difference to how much light there is in the kitchen.
As it’s Saturday, I think, we will be watching a film but not sure if I will be awake for long.
Forecast for rain for the next week so think we might get some painting done.
