Discovered small boat rowing race starting at Greenwich 1.15 - hair not up, grab hair slide, bag and 6 greengages - washing left on line - catch train to Liverpool street - 2 bus stops closed - seats on embankment at Millennium bridge - we didn't count the boats but over 200 - finished about 3.15 - bride and groom appeared - fancied egg and chips for our lunch/tea 4.30. hotter than expected today.
