Solace Day 6 - Foraging

What are they up to? The Man and I are helping a lady open the locks. It can be a tough job for a woman and I am always keen to tell them they should steer the boat through and leave this to men who are normally stronger. 

Kanyl has lent Kat his walking stick and she is leaping about trying to snag branches. She loves getting a bit of fruit from canalside bushes. I think this was a greengage bush.

We arrived back at the marina this morning and got the pump-outs and refuelling done. The nearby Wolseley Bridge Garden centre does good lunches then we had a wander round the adjoining Staffordshire Wildlife Trust nature reserve.
