Gathering storm

After a week of intense heat and humidity, the storms rolled in this afternoon. In other places around Ontario there were trees down and funnel clouds.

And as the storm was brewing, a sad event in our lives was taking place. Our dear cat, Carlos, passed away suddenly and without warning. He was just four and it was unexpected and devastating, particularly for R and C who found him at the bottom of the stairs. Here is my most recent blip of that lovely cat who would fetch and was as friendly as cats come.

It was a year ago today I started blipping. I would not have seen any of this transpiring a year later.
