I wonder!

I wonder how this delicate late flowering hogweed is fairing after the lightning and thunderstorms of the evening.
We had a gentle walk through the woods at Middleton Lakes this morning as I wanted to collect some seed heads for Autumnal display.
The afternoon was spent eating delicious cake, drinking tea, chatting and garden admiring at blipper Rainette’s with two other blippers., wylewander and biddy
It really was a lovely afternoon.. made even more magical by an amazing thunderstorm and torrential rain.
I love “ weather” .. so we were quite happy to stand and watch it raining… a day good for the soul
