to infinity and beyond

After various shopping chores were done we visited the autumn festival at our local square. Bought a book and stayed for a glass of wine. We continued to catch the Ring Bahn to Tempelhofer Feld where the kite festival was. It took us about 15 minutes to get out of the train station, it was absolutely rammed with people. Luckily there is plenty of space on an airfield. The big kits were quite amazing. Lots of people had their own kites (see extra). This year we came prepared and took our large kite along. And the little one. We decided to leave the large one in the bag, too many people and I am not convinced I know how to fly it. Well, it's not huge but it is steerable. We met with a colleague and his family and enjoyed the sun shine. A most relaxed day.
