Gardening
Today I worked (yes, supervised by Caspar, of course) again on the path around our house. One row of pavement stones had sagged in the cause of the last 20 years. Just some 4-5 metres, not the whole path of 65m.
So I pull them all out, brushed them free of soil, grass and weed. Then I put a layer of grit in the hole. And put the stones back, with some force to ensure that the grit was really filling the space below the stones.
The last stone was quite stubborn. Somehow the putting all stones back used more space then before. But with quite some hammering (I even got a blister on my thumb) I managed to get the stones all back, now in decent row of the right height.
