Green Lane

Another beautiful day, although possibly our last here according to the forecast, with again very little wind. I was rather too sore to be able to enjoy a another bike ride (still don't understand why the high-end saddle on my new bike has given me so much grief, but then I've been using the same one on the old bike for twelve years so perhaps anything different was going to need some more gentle wearing in) so I opted for a run instead. I headed over to the other side of the valley, not having done that pretty much all summer. I was slow with the legs still carrying fatigue from the bike ride but I did the traverse from Nesfield to Denton, the ground underfoot incredibly dry. It was a bit over 11 miles, It's been a good training week. 

Finished Kaos in the evening. Took me a little while to get into it but after the second episode I binged. There were some amazing performances,  Jeff Goldblum as Zeus and  especially Janet McTeer as Hera were totally fabulous. Thoroughly recommended, although not for the faint of heart. Well, it is Greek mythology!
