Blackberries

Today we went to Howe Ridding. We have hardly been this year, so busy with things nearer home. It was really lovely to be there again, and all looking lovely.
Rob was determined that we should find some blackberries, although it’s been the worst year for them around here. We wandered along and found the occasional bunch, and ended up with half a bowl full, and some nice windfall apples.
Bonnie loved it there, all the new smells!
We then stopped off at Low Sizergh Barn for a gelato! What a treat.
