We needed a road
trip and fabric therapy...
so off to Armstrong!

I picked my friend G up at 9 so we could head off to the Pleasant Valley Quilt Store in Armstrong. 

We got there just after it had opened for the day. The shop already held several customers who were as intent on quilting fabric as we were. 

Clea, the owner, is always a delight to chat with. She was busy moving bolts of fabric around in the store. The store has recently expanded its shelving so the inventory has expanded as well. It is a bright and cheerful place and the fabric selection is always enticing. 

G did very well with her choices and she filled a big green shopping bag. I was much more conservative and only filled a small green shopping bag. 

We made off with our purchases to drive over to a favourite restaurant for some lunch. 

We managed to be back home by 3 PM. I'm putting my head down for a nap as soon as this blip is posted.
