Anodyne

I'm tempted to do a downtown series, but I might send you all into shock.  I have mostly presented the rosy side of life in Albuquerque.  Our downtown (just 5- 9 blocks from the home front), is a deserted island of empty stores and restaurants.  Anodyne (a pool hall) is one of the lone survivors.

People from the west side, the hillside, the east mountains, etc. complain about the homeless downtown.  Ha!  We have very few homeless compared to almost any other town/city in the USA.  It's the absentee landlords, living in other parts of the country, who don't care about empty buildings, waiting for rents to rise, selling prices to rise, who are killing us, our wonderfully diverse and compassionate City.
