Black billed magpie

There were several of these guys hanging out at the hotel in Bozeman as we were waiting for the whole group to show up for the 3 hour drive up to the first place we were going to in Idaho. The scenery was beautiful and the aspen are turning golden in some areas, but we really only stopped once to check out some pronghorn (behind a fence so lousy photo). The lodge is nice , right on the river and we spotted common mergansers and a fishing osprey. Tomorrow off to a National Wildlife Refuge near here to see what we can see.
