Adventure Seekers
We've been on the go again all day, another one rich with experiences, including (1) fascinating experiments with magic sand, glow-in-the-dark silly putty, and made-in-five-minutes ice cream in our Grandparents "U" chemistry class this morning, (2) another pleasant couple of hours -- and projects -- at CreativiTea for Z and me, (3) more woodworking time for B and Phil here, and (4) this sunset sojourn at Lake Padden, where we watched Z and B enjoying the simple pleasures of childhood.
Tomorrow morning we'll all go to the Bellingham Farmers Market, where Z and B have planned to carefully examine the offerings of each vendor before deciding on the best items at the best price to give their parents, and perhaps a small item or two for themselves as well (the honey sticks, five for $1, are a perennial favorite).
We'll meet up with their parents about noon, have lunch downtown, and then some time together at our house before they all head south for Bellevue. The house will feel strangely empty, I'm sure, but we will have a wealth of photos and pleasant memories to fill it with.
