A TwoTone Playlist

I’ve made a Spotify playlist  and without any peeping, chose most of these songs. I loved the 2Tone period. Black folk, white folk, male and female reviving ‘60s Jamaican ska for the  Thatcher years. (And the chance to dance as if running on the spot.)
 
In 1980 my pals and I ended our North American odyssey in San Francisco.  I heard  a student radio station in Berkeley and thought, ‘I could do that.’ I envisaged a show based on what was happening in the UK  particularly the 2Tone stuff. As long as I could get a supply of vinyl, it couldn’t fail, and my Scottish accent would be a plus. It was a nice idea but a completely impractical one at the time.
