Autumn arrives!

Today's offering is the Hawthorn tree and berries, showing off its Autumn colours.  It has changed from  green to red/yellow/orange in a matter of a couple of days.
In other news: the Flower Fairies arrived for the day a little after 7.30am, looking rather groggy at such an early weekend start but chocolate milk and breakfast soon sorted that out.  Mr MC was on hand until 10.30am and after that I took over.  We did baking, used the art board and nail painting (successful) and bubble painting (not entirely successful)  before they settled down to a quiet session with the Kindles. S-R was collected early evening by Daddy and V elected to stay the night with us , rather, I think, because it is quiet here without a 3 year old!
