Darwinism

I was hoping that the highlight of another wet day would be Somerset finally winning a trophy after losing out in the T20 and Championship, but alas it was raining in Nottingham too so their One-Day Cup Final was postponed until tomorrow. The forecast is looking pretty dire for Monday too, so, if they cannot play at least a 20 over match, the trophy will be shared. I think I would take that rather than have a farcical short final where it could all be about luck, rather than the survival of the fittest.

So the highlight of the day - the Ocado delivery this morning. Apparently the Christmas slot bookings start next week. Well there are only 93 days to go now.

Not today there aren't. Yesterday evening though I saw a massive spider run across the living room carpet. I nearly caught him but he escaped up the chimney. Survival of the fittest/fastest again.
