Quick job

Attempt two to put up the house number on the front of the house. Had Steve’s ‘proper’ drill. Needs to be plugged in for extra umpf. Turns out even that is no match for granite.

So this is the result of:
3 different placements and trying to drill the holes.
One broken drill bit.
A burnt finger. The old drill gets very hot!
Deciding on a new position that only needed me to go through the mortar and not stone.
House number up. As it turns out, it’s perfectly level.

Hopefully it stays up!
