Rainy streetscape

Taken out the front window of the car on the way home from night shift just after 9am. Blurred by the rain drops on the windscreen, but I still like it.

This morning was cold and wet, but the sun was really bright beneath the thick cloud, and it made all the colours seem really stark.

Despite the rain and 40 knot winds, there were cyclists out, a guy up a ladder fixing a roof (can you see him?) and the usual crowd pouring out if nightclubs and heading home in taxis.

I'm sure they've slept the day away just like me.
