Flooding

A very quick iPhone shot whilst the rain eased off for a short time.

The lower terrace and lawn were awash, we had a stream running down the lawn - see picture, we also had water pouring through the utility roof. There is also water pouring thorough the electricity meter box in there. The bedroom wasn't as bad as it could have been as the roofer had managed to nearly get to the bottom of the problem but not quite.

To add to this Millie had chosen today of all days to do a bunk - not once, not twice but four times. She had found that she could go next door. Her tracker said it was off line and where she was always happy in the garden she wasn't today which bodes ill for letting her out at all without a lead on. To find and retrieve her in the torrential rain wasn't funny.

The weather forecast looks grim over us tomorrow - I dare not go out and leave the house.
