What is it?
As we walked along the beach at low tide today, I saw something laying on the sand that I didn't recognize at all. I took a couple of photos and when I got home used Google Lens to identify it... egg casings from a Crown Conch! I learned that these are often found on the Gulf Coast of Florida where we live. You can read more about the Crown Conch here. The article is written a Graduate student from the Florida State University (FSU) Department of Biological Science. I found the information fascinating!
