Rebuilding

By RadioGirl

A fairly typical Sunday, with church in the morning followed by a local mooch around two or three places in search of more waterproof shoes than the Skechers I normally schlep about in. This quest proved fruitless, but at least I got a blip of Perrywood’s (the local garden centre’s) Hallowe’en display which can be seen as soon as you walk in through the entrance. They do amazing seasonal sets, really magical, though I do think this particular one is a bit “busy”. Their Ch*****as sets take them ages to construct, and people come from far and wide to see them - they are gorgeous (sorry, but September is far too early to mention the ‘C’ word, and I am disgusted at Sainsbury’s who have got seasonal goods for it on sale already!!!).

My sister called this afternoon, having got back from a holiday with family where she had a go on a wobbly rope bridge etc and a zip-wire! It’s not something I’d have the courage to do, so I’m really impressed and proud of her.

I got a bit more done with the clothes pile, discovering dresses I didn’t remember I had. There will be some trying-on happening tomorrow to see what fits again now that I’ve shed a stone in weight.
