Marjorie's ramblings

Leaving Bilbao

I planned to wake early and walk to a viewpoint on the far side of the Guggenheim for sunrise. It was very cloudy when I woke so I packed and then went. It is hard to see reflections because the river is moving but I like the hint of reflections in my main blip.

Just after I took this one, a pleasure boat sailed by, creating ripples and waves.

The various members of our party arrived at different times of day, so we gradually assembled in Mundaka. This is a small fishing village with a surfing beach. Not today.

I wandered around and found the view on my first extra.

In the village, people were very friendly despite my lack of Spanish. Moses, in my second extra, was keen to chat. His parents emigrated to the USA when he was a child. During a holiday back to Spain, he decided to stay and made his adult life here.

Once we all assembled we did introductions and had a delicious meal in a local restaurant. We have a dawn shoot tomorrow so I’m about to set my alarm.
