Sky lagoon

This evening we’ve been to the Sky Lagoon; it’s just outside Reykjavik and has set itself up in competition to the Blue Lagoon. We preferred it, although it’s less iconic, but that could be because we had the most perfect evening for it. You get to experience a 7 step ritual, which includes a body scrub and steam room (the latter isn’t great for spectacle wearers!), plus a cold plunge pool, sauna, cold mist, some sort of berry elixir and then back to the hot lagoon. The photo is of the infinity pool with much overpriced Prosecco being consumed.

Earlier we explored Reykjavik and did all the touristy things in between much eating and drinking. The weather has been completely glorious - and looks set fair for the next few days too. Lucky us.
