We did it!

… and have medals to prove it.

Also sore feet and aching joints at mile13 at 2.30 am this morning when we finished after doing the walk in just over four hours forty minutes, but after rest and sleep we’re both good!

It has been a big build up and so many friends have been a huge encouragement and support, so another thank you to you/them!

The awful weather that was forecast didn’t arrive until we were leaving Battersea Park for the car and home. Others, including Matthew and Little Sis got truly drenched on their walk to the station. Once home it was bed and sleep. Many memories made and many gratefuls. It’s been good this evening to share the walk and to receive messages of congratulations back.
