Fishing Shiel
……………………………….on the banks of the Tweed. A few are still in use for fishing, some have been turned into holiday homes but many have just been left to go derelict like this one.
Little one slept through until about 8am…we didn’t get up until much later as he has his breakfast in bed and enjoys playing hide and seek in the bed! I returned him home about 2ish and picked up a few supplies in M&S before heading home and sorting out some food for a pooled supper.
The walking group had booked an evening cruise up the Tweed to the Union Chain Bridge and back again, after which we went back to the church hall for a pooled supper. It was a wee bit chilly on the boat but at least it was dry…and it was dark by the time we arrived back to Berwick. A very convivial supper was had afterwards.
Thanks to Marlieske for hosting Derelict Sunday.
