Carpet of Flowers

This morning 9 Walkers turned up, they parked at Gunn Road and walked upstream along the Clutha River.  The wind was cold at the meeting place, but once they started walking in the shelter of the trees, it got quite hot.  

In the meantime I met Piano Lady, The Tuner, and M, at a local cafe, where we had a cuppa, scone and chat.  Then in the afternoon 17 of us met for another cuppa and cake, always good to catch up with everyone.  On the way home I stopped for a photo at Wanaka Station Park.  Daffodils and Grape Hyacinths.  The weather warmed up in the afternoon to +16.  Seems funny that there is snow in the forecast!!
