Blood Bank Colour Pop
This isn't strictly mono but I couldn't resist entering it in today's challenge, which is people from a low angle, but keeping a bit of red as a colour pop.
Plasma time had come around again already and as I walked up to the blood bank, I noticed the wind had blown down many of the election posters, including the one my husband was coveting (presumably for nefarious purposes). The reason we're in our (albeit lovely) apartment is the minister for infrastructure really messed up public transport quite a few years ago, and the suburb where we had been living was particularly hard done by. There's not much chance of change (I think in 35 years of self-government there's probably been only one Liberal government that I can remember, the current Labor government has been in power for 23 years).
Anyway, here's one of our local members ready to welcome my husband back, when he eventually returns from his language/cycling tour of Europe in mid-October (just in time to vote in the election).
You can also see the lego cat my daughter recently completed (it looks just like our own cat), and a bike I gave my husband as a joke (since he has taken n+1 to considerable levels, although I have made a late run in matching him with cameras.
I'm hosting my final Tiny Tuesday tomorrow. The theme is “surreal” (#TT487). It’s time to go crazy – pre- or post- production; bring out your tiny people, or try some collage; frottage or automatism, to name just a few surrealist techniques..
