Nighttime view

Enjoying the “still of the night” as I am awake with a bout of Covid.

I couldn’t quite believe it when the strip showed positive today. I thought it was just flu. I had a fever on Friday but it wasn’t too severe, though I did feel rough, so I took a test, which said negative. But the fever and body aches and headache got worse so I took to my bed anyway and masked up as I didn’t want David to catch it just before his trip to Australia to see his Dad, which is in 2 weeks.

I felt a lot better by today and the fever had subsided, leaving muscle weakness and sore throat in its wake, but with the help of various essential oils I seem to be getting better. Food tastes funny though.
