Greetings

I went to see Coventry lose 2-1 at home to Swansea City. The game was notable for two highlights.

First, ahead of a "special" birthday later this week, my son arranged for this message to appear on the big screen in the stadium before the kick-off and at half-time. It was one of a number of such greetings to fans - being shown just after one for Kelly, aged 6 and before Charley aged 11. I really enjoyed that.

Then, in the second half, the referee took the players off during a heavy rain storm in the interests of their safety(!) Instantly the stadium DJ played a very apt song. The crowd loved it and joined-in with the chorus.

These things make football the entertainment that it is.
