Turning into your dad (or mum)

As I mentioned on yesterday's blip, this picture was inspired by a brief moment when I said something to rachel that was so like something my dad would have said. It was more than what I said though, at that moment, I could see my dad in myslef. It was almost as if I had become him albeit briefly.

I wanted to do this picture with me as the main subject and my dad's face as the mask because that is what I wanted to portray, but sadly I don't have any decent pictures of dad. I have some older prints and they didn't scan well, so instead, I have used my son Matthew and myself. I wonder if her ever has, or ever will have those moments when he feels he is turning into me?
