Gopher Turtle

This little one was found by one of the women at work behind the tire of a truck. She rescued it and it was driven to a nice safe place where it can grow into it's full size. Of course I had to ask to let me take a photo before it was wisked off to safety and the minute it was put down, it made a mad dash - these Gopher Turtles can move fast for a turtle.

Once again we had rain just about all night long. It's getting soggy out there. Have a great weekend everyone.
