Yet another wee trip to the botanics...

Apparently this is a Delosperma Lavisiae, a form of Iceplant with originates from South Africa. There you go, a bit of research for a change on my part! I actually remembered to photograph the tag next to the plant in the Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh. More importantly though this is my very first play out with textures after marvelling at what some of my Flickr contacts manage to achieve with them.

This time next week I'll be taking my first ever shots of the Leaning Tower of Pisa, just hope the cruise boat I'll be on has an internet connection so I can at least Flickr and Blip while I'm away!
