(not) praying for rain
The river is dry
trees are all dying
hard times are coming
they're coming again
somewhere in the night
somebody's crying
crying all night
and praying for rain
Bob Gilroy-Evans
We are most definitely not praying for rain. If anything, we're praying for it to stop. Parts of the town are flooded and towns and villages in the surrounding area are inundated as well.
We knew it was coming, but it still seems to surprise us when it does. We're luckier than most though - we live on the higher part of the town. I think Bob G-E knew a thing or two about climate change.
