Pumpkins galore!

As we left Norfolk this morning at the end of a lovely few days' break,  there was still a hazy sun in the sky but we soon encountered rain which got heavier and heavier as we headed west.  Luckily we only had to navigate one really deep patch of water, between Chipping Norton and Stow on the Wold, but everyone was being very sensible and drove  through it nice and slowly, one after the other from each direction. 

I was wondering what my blip would be on such a wet, dull day when we passed this field of pumpkins.  Job done!

Today is the day, 27 years ago, that Mr Sk and I first met.  We had scampi and chips in The Thames Head pub near Cirencester.  A day to remember!
