Scottish Dancing
After yesterday's glorious weather things returned to normal. Mizzle all day. I went to a new (for me) class- Scottish Dancing. I know I'm not Scottish, well Ancestry says I am 6% Scottish. Thats due to my 3x Great Grandfather John Wigton - born in Glasgow, although married and died in Norfolk and I've no idea how he got there.
I digress. When I was a wee lass one of our primary school teachers was Scottish and we all had to learn . I've kept it up over the years with many Burns Nights dances and ceilidhs in Edinburgh. Now I've been accepted into the fortnightly class at our local U3A , which says its full but due to my previous expertise!!! they've let me in.
Anyway - no photos of ladies ( and 2 gents" dancing.) Instead here's the (bronze) hare in our garden surveying the rain droplets .
