Medieval

Went to Church this morning, to a charming little church - St. Denys - on the outskirts of central York and opposite our hotel.  A lovely service and totally different to our services in Australia.  Actually not totally different but different enough.  This church is medieval - 12th Century or thereabouts - our church at home is one of the oldest in suburban Adelaide, and was built in 1867.

We were made very welcome, and lean quite a lot about all sorts of things, but not to be written about here.
