At its best

The beautiful orchid I was given for my birthday. Thought I ought to blip it while it’s at its best, and before I kill it. 

After a weekend of heavy rain an Amber Weather Warning for even more torrential downpours today, the rain has been incessant, it hasn’t stopped once, and it’s still pouring down this evening. There’s an Amber Flood Warning locally for both the River Chew and the River Avon, not surprisingly at all given four days in a row of weather warnings for torrential rain. And it’s been so dark, the lights have been on indoors all day. Some local places have had more than a month’s worth of rain in the last 24/48 hours.
