Ready

Kilda slept on the bed again last night, she started off on the floor but kept whining so came up. J got up early to get ready for her swim but wasn’t feeling great. We headed down to the beach for a 7.45am briefing and an 8 o’clock start. The weather turned just as they went into the water and the wind got up. We watched J leave, which Darwin wasn’t happy about and then went back to the van for breakfast. I was heading over to the toilet block after about an hour and a half and met J coming back from the swim. She managed to get 2.5K done but still wasn’t feeling well and was freezing so decided correctly to finish early. Got the heating on and she went to bed to warm up for an hour or so. J finally warmed up enough for us to go out and get her medal for completing the 3 swims in the series, took the dogs for a little walk and ended up with Darwin in the loch chasing his ball. They all had another nap while I caught up on blip words.
