micro moth

We had our AI in healthcare symposium today. It was really interesting although I couldn't help but notice that it wasn't really about AI but more about machine learning and possibly deep neural networks. I guess the name is hype and you might as well attempt to benefit from it. The other big item was more data is required. In many areas (much less complex than biological systems) we already have plenty of data and good understanding of how the system works yet we fail to act upon this knowledge (climate springs to mind). Anyway, it was interesting to listen to the talks and chat with people. We also got nice cakes.
