Wound up in Wexford

Latest project

Rain overnight meant our landscapers decided it would be too wet for them today.

In fact, the weather wasn't bad.

W spent a good part of the day removing turf around the polytunnel skeleton.  I leant out of the upstairs windows and removed at least some of the grime from the outside.

After lunch, I did a bit of fluting, then sat in the lounge sewing.

The latest project is entirely hand stitched.  Sixteen little embroideries, each appliqued onto some linen, and surrounded by ¾inch hexagons.

After taking this photo, I stitched the 18 hexagons together.  Once the front is finished, it is then hand quilted.  It's quite small - just 80cm by 90cm - it'll be a nice wall hanging.
