My Mom's Rose

I've posted this before, but this lovely rose has bloomed again so it's a prime target for another blip! I took a cutting of my mom's rose bush the week she passed away. The funny thing is that this doesn't bear much resemblance to the rose that I took the cutting from - it was very orange, had more petals, and smaller. I'm not sure what happened, perhaps I got a cutting from a stem that rose from under the graft. At any rate, it still reminds me of my mom, and I'm really grateful that I have it blooming in my courtyard!

Had a fun game of golf today with a bunch of my friends, and am now about to go to an HOA Board meeting. Fortunately, they are VERY short ;-)
