Harriman State Park Dawn

I am afraid the light in the sky caught my eye more than the ducks in the water. Later in the day in Yellowstone we stopped at Norris Geyser Basin - full of fumaroles , sulfur smells and geysers. The area is apparently the hottest spot in the park due to the lava chamber lying only a mile under the surface. The water temps range from 130 to 200 ish in the pools. Which can also be quite acid and dissolve things which is why there are signs everywhere to stay on the boardwalk. Some shots in extras.
