"Please hold"

I felt as though I heard those two words a thousand times today after each 30 second repetition of some rather irritating music.
After attempting to buy something from a companies' website, and being later refused because the gap between arrival and departure wasn't long enough, (even though I had to pay before that came up), I decided to get back the refund that had been promised two weeks ago.
Turns out, even though I had paid that company directly, they had refunded the amount to a totally separate company,  who happened to be their agent. 
So another heavy dose of my time spent waiting on the agents system before being promised that they would process the refund.
We'll see if all's well that ends well.
