Lazy Monday

It's Day 6 of Birthday Fun Week and it's been a weird one! I had earmarked today mostly for editing and some housework, but I woke at 4:55am with a dodgy tummy and couldn't get back to sleep, so by 10:30am I had done a wash and popped it in the dryer, edited the podcast episode, washed up last night's dinner bumph and had a shower. As such, I spent some time making myself soup for lunch, and settled in to watch Heathers this afternoon. I'd been avoiding this movie all my life, thinking it was a cutesy coming of age high school romance story, but it is absolutely not that at all and I was very pleasantly surprised! The world needs more Winona Ryder in a monocle.
