No pictures today...
however, No.2 sent me this snapped outside No.10. He does art handling/installations alongside his art practise and often works in Downing Street.
I drove over to Tooting this morning and Waze took me round the houses but probably quicker than M25. No.1 was tired after the weekend but we did a bit of sorting out before heading back to Kent. This will be the pattern for the next few months enabling her to spend weekends with JC in her own home, and then during the week with us in Kent. Thus avoiding the necessity for her to be on her own as this is lonely and she would struggle?
She was upbeat and positive and such an inspiration in view of everything she is going through. She was tired when we got back but despite having a lie down, couldn't sleep so opted for a bath instead. I sat on the loo and read her some of the letters from her box (a good friend E has suggested that people send her letters recalling their memories and she put these in a box to read when she is having an off day - such a great idea but it was not an off day today, she was just interested to hear what had been written) however I digress. Thank you Helen - she loved the picture and the memories of the Elsies - odd fact, that was the night we heard that Michael Jackson had died?! I had only read a few letters before we were both blubbing so we decided to abandon for another day.
Easy dinner (lasagne I had cooked in advance - no Cook meal today) and then an episode of Paul Whitehouse and Vic Reeves going Fishing (with a dog called Ted)......... that is not the name of the programme but I had read about it in the Telegraph this morning and it got good reviews. It is such a feel good programme and even if you are not the slightest bit interesting in fishing (I'm not) the banter, scenery, laughs and general love between the two of them makes lovely viewing.
