Ash Craft

The Ash Tree is being afflicted with a disease called Ash Tree Dieback.

The wood of the ash tree however can be used for a wide range of purposes. The Royal Botanics Garden in Edinburgh have an exhibition called ‘Rising From The Ashes’. Running just now the  show features a wide range of crafts people making objects from Ash. 

Very interesting and well worth visiting as today’s entry shows.
