Autumn Leaf

There was a brief period of sunshine after lunch and I popped out for this photo as the Witch hazel is in Autumn finery.

The droplet in the middle seemed to be attached to a single strand of spider web, the 'surreal' element of the blip.

There was a short but heavy downpour afterwards and I went back after it had stopped to confirm my theory - but it was gone, not just the droplet but the leaf also, lying on the grass.

It is Autumn, so I guess that's progress. Thanks to McCaviti for hosting and setting the challenge.
