The Reading Connection

Up at ridiculous o'clock to head to Thatcham for a run and dash meeting with one of my team.

The train was going fine until Swindon and then we got caught behind a delayed freight train, so ended up being slow running for ages. Which, of course, meant that I missed my connection at Reading to head to Thatcham. Brilliant!

I eventually got there and had a good one-to-one with one of my team who has just joined us. Whilst it was a good chat, it has also left me with a lot to think over with other elements of the team.

The train journey home was fine and I was back in the house by 3pm. Hurrah!

Today I am thankful for:

1.  Good conversation
2.  No problems on the return train journey
