Well balanced....

A dry day was forecast today, so of course it started to tip down while I was out for a wander at the nature reserve!!  But I did manage to see the Kingfisher briefly, along with spoonbills, kestrel and a large flock of housemartins! And the Long Tailed tit population seemed to be well represented too so always nice to see them!

had a friend pop round this afternoon too with  her furry grandson - Mac the golden retriever - so had a lovely catch up with both of them!

And a big day for my nephew today as he set off on his University journey - hopefully his Mum and Dad didn't embarrass him too much while dropping him off and settling him into halls!
