There they were…

       …GONE!
This is "Rose #3".  I have, from time to time shot it, in case of nothing else.  It was, every time, set aside on the strength of a less repeatable shot appearing. 
       It/they would have appeared as something like 'Last Rose of Summer?" 
       I went out today, and, as usual, headed for it 'just in case'. Gobsmackedness set in.  Since last I saw it/them some 'thing, or things, unknown' have removed any chance of it ever being "The last Rose of Summer"
